This is one of a very few different early era, one-off talismanic amulets of the Great Luang Phu Tim of Wat Laharn Rai we hunted down, and is one which we do not expect to find a repeat example of, due to the nature of hand made carved talismanic charms, being very rare, and mostly made only one in the case of compositions of double tusks like these.
We assume two possibilities of the binding of both tusks; 1. That both tusks were once individual amulets, and that they were probably joined by a devotee, taken from two separate tusks, and bound into one single talismanic animist charm. Or, 2. They may have been composed as a Crescent by Luang Phu Himself, which is perhaps more likely. At most one would expect to find one or two in a lifetime, or at most, a mere handful. This exhibit is most certainly a very rare early era one--off talismanic amulet of the Great LP Tim of Wat Laharn Rai.
An immensely rare talisanic charm of this great master to encounter, due to the nature of the amulet being made from the anomalous 'Khiaw Moo Dtanb' non-hollow (completely solid throughout_, which is only found in one in many thousands of wild boars, and is believed to possess the power of Kong Grapan and Maha Ud, Klaw Klaad.
Indeed, the Boars Tusks also invoke the Vahara Boar, which was of course the second incarnation of Vishnu, who manifested himself as an albino boar and ravaged and punished the demon Hirantayaksa for stealing the land from Humans to deprive them of a place to dwell, and rolling it up unnder his armpit to take down to the underworld. The god Vishnu is seen as the savior aspect of the three godly aspects of the Trinity God of Hinduism, Trimurti, along with Brahma as the Creator, and Shiva, as the Destroyer.
These bound crescent Tusks, are a highly original and individual Talisman, which is individual due to its hand carved nature and the quality of the artisan's cariving, the hand insdcriptions, and the anomalous tusks themselves, which obviously limits the number of amulets of this type which may exist, down to a mere handful.
This fact, makes this hand carved twin crescent shaped pair of anomalous boars tusks, with the image of the Guru, such an inimitable, and irrepealable occasion to obtain a most powerful hand inscribed Talismanic Animist Charm of LP Tim, with extra special power of the Khiaw Moo Dtan anomalous solid tusk, and the invocations of the Vahara Boar, and the Moo Tong Daeng 'Copper Pig' Magic Spells imbued within the amulet through the incantations and empowerment of Luang Phu..
The Khiaw Hmoo Dtan Koo is empowered, as all animist charms and also necromantic amulets are, with the Kata Hnun Taat See, Riak Taat See, Kata Hnun Taat See, and the Kata Pluk Taat See, completing all four forms of invoking and evoking and reanimating the four elements of earth, water, fire, and air within the image, as the first half of the Magical Wicha, for reanimation of a Spirit Mind, to enter and dwell within the physical form of the amulet. Luang Phu Tim, like other Gaeji Ajarn Master Monks with spiritual powers, will also have most certainly embedded his mind within the amulet, as his image is carved upon the surface, making the amulet also a 'Gurunussati' (mindfulness of the Guru) amulet, to connect with the Master, communicate and beseech his protection and blessings.
After this, it was of course, as is ubiquitous with this kind of animist charm empowered with the Wicha Akarn Sam Sip Sorng (32 substances of the Human Living Organism), listing all the necessary components for life to be imbued within the carved image, to imbue the spirit mind of the Vahara Boar with living magical energy to be able to dwell and survive within the amulet, as dictated in the Dtamra Saiyawaet ancient grimoires.
Luang Phu Tim was very thrifty with the Kuarn Tong Hoeng Prai skull bones he was donated by Lay Sorceror devotees. Only a lay sorceror can take the Ban Neng, or make Nam Man Prai oil. So all the devotees who assisted in obtaining the skulls for LP Tim's famous Pong Prai Kumarn Powders, had to wait at a distance when the sorceror performed his subduing ritual to control the Hian Hoeng Prai Spirit of the Mother and Kumarn in the cemetery, and his Ban Neng bone carvings, of which there is evidence of only a very few being made, and which are hardly to be seen at all.
The amulet comes with free Fed-Ex shipping included. The Khiaw Hmoo Dtan Koo Boars Tusks are large size measuring 6 Cm High, x 3.5 Cm Wide, and 1 Cm thick. The front face has received Rak Dam herbal lacquer, and gold leaf applied, and has an image of Luang Phu Tim in standing posture on each tusk, inscribed into the surface, which shows its age through the patina to be early era, and to have been worn against the skin of a devotee over time.
This amulet comes with Cmap of Category First Prize Trophy, and 1st Prize A4 size official authenticity certificate, made by the Samakom Anuraks Pra Krueang Luead Ban Kaay Luang Phu Tim Amulet Preservation Society meeting, with signature of confirmation from its president Ajarn Phisek, issued on 11th August 2562 BE in Bangkok Competition
