Luang Phu Yim Jantachote (2387 – 2453 BE), was the Great Kroo Ba Ajarn and Initiator of the Lineage Mastery Wicha of Wat Nong Bua, and gave great fame to the temple, as well as training one of the other Great Masters of the Kanjanaburi Ditrict; Luang Phu Rian, who became abbot of Wat Nong Bua after Luang Phu Yim passed away, and was the continuance of the Lineage. Both LP Yim himself and his Looksit Luang Phu Rian, are highly revered worldwide, but began in ancient times, with their prime following coming from the Mon Hilltribe people and the Thai Buddhists of West Central Thailand, and also in Burma. Luang Phu Yim, and his successor, Luang Phu Rian, were perhaps the two top Kanjanaburi Masters of their Era.
