Ajahn Chah of Wat Nong Pah Pong Temple in Ubon Rachathani was a renowned Thai Buddhist monk and teacher known for his wisdom, compassion, and humility. He was born in 1918 in the northeastern province of Ubon Rachathani, Thailand, and was ordained as a Buddhist monk at the age of 20.
