The Rian Gao Sangkarach Gao Rachagarn Suwannabhumi Witayalai commerorative coin features nine High Sangha Monks, and the first Nine Kings of the Chakri Dynasty, was commissioned by Luang Por Plueang of Wat Suwannabhumi, inviting the great Luang Por Mui of Wat Don Rai, and various other Masters of the time to assist in the empowerment of the amulets.
The purpose of the creation of this amulet, was to commemorate the building of the Roeng Rien Suwannabhumi Witayalai Dhamma College for teaching the Pariyatti Dhamma to Buddhist Monks. The amulets were released in the year 2505 BE and handed out to devotees, for what was even back in those days a ridiculously low 2 Baht donation.
This was the first edition of 2505, and because of the famed enerosity of giving the amulets out to devotees after they donated anything over a mere 2 Baht, led this amulet to be known by the knicknae of the 'Pra Sorng Baht', meaning '2 Baht Buddha'.
The oily blackened surface sheen of the copper coin exudes character, and gives depth and warmth to the 'Rasamee' aura of the amulet, lending a warm glow to the surface of the amulet when the light catches it.
The Buddha Abhiseka Ceremony included the presence of the following Master Monks; Somdej Sangkarach Pha (Wat Pra Chetupol),Tan Jao Khun Sawai (Wat Ban Krang), Luang Por Plueang (Wat Suwannabhumi, Luang Por Mui (Wat Don Rai), Luang Por Dam (Wat Nor), Luang Por Dtaem (Wat Pra Loi). Luang Por Ort (Wat Sala Khaw), and Luang Phu To, of Wat Lard Tarn
The 9 Kings of the Chakri Dynasty featured on one face of the coin are; 1. Pra Jao Prohm Maharach, 2. Pra Jao Meng Rai Maharach, 3. Por Khun Ramkamhaeng Maharach, 4. Pra Jao U-Tong Maharach, 5. Both the first and second edition coins are popular both with Thai Buddhists who revere the Sangkaracha Monks, and with those who collect Royal coins and regalia, and devotees who revere the Nine Great Kings of the Chakri Dynasty.
Made from Nuea Tong Daeng (sacred Copper Alloy), the coin is in excellent condition, and is a highly recommendable Klaew Klaad Kong Grapan Serm Duang Serm Yos amulet with Maha Amnaj Commanding Influence, and status increase, as well as of course the auspicious Buddhist Blessings of 9 Great Stately Monks of various eras.
A Classic collectors item, especially for those who collect all series of the 9 Sangkarach 9 Rachagarn amulets, which have been seen to have been made in reverence to both the nine great monks and the nine great Kings of the Chakri dynasty, by various temples, and master monks.
