Pra Somdej Kaiser Ok Krut Siarn Badtr 2542 BE - 95th Birthday edition 1 Takrut Insert - Top Preferred Pim Niyom Amulet - Luang Por Pae
This is an extremely attractive and due to only small numbers made, hence even more rare for its excellence Pra Somdej Luang Por Pae, 95th Anniversary edition from Wat Pikul Tong.
Very few were made of this particular series, making it one of the most highly preferred amulets of the whole Pantheon, equally preferred to the Somdej Pae 2000 Edition, and well above the Somdej Pae 3000, 4000, and 5000 editions up to the 9000 which was the last. It is perhaps a second place to the Somdej Pae 1000 along with the first pre 2500 BE Amulets and equal to the Pae 2000. It is however much rarer to find than the Pae 2000 amulet, despite the fact both amulets carry a very similar price-tag.
These classic Pra Niyom Masterpiece amulets were made in the Year 2542 BE, in the celebration of the 95th birthday of Luang Por Pae edition, and were released in 2543. The amulet was made in various versions, all of which, just like most Pim from this master, are now becoming extremely difficult to find many remaining examples of. This is perhaps the final time where these amulets may still be found if one searches with great diligence, but otherwise, are now extremely difficult to find.
This particular model and edition are one of the more highly regarded and sought after (and expensive), for the fact that the blessing ceremony of Buddha Abhiseka was also attended by Luang Por Jae Issaro, Luang Por Guay, Luang Phu Yen of Wat Sala Prian, Luang Por Juan, Luang Phu Bpron, as the lineage Masters of the Great Miracle Monk Luang Phu Sukh (Wat Makham Tao), Luang Por Tao, Luang Por Derm, and Luang Por Sri. Because of Luang Por Sri commanding Luang Por Guay to stand in his stead, Luang Por Pae gave the honors of imnvoking and empowering the incense sticks with the Khom Agkhara 'P' for Pae, and was successful in performing an extremely effective empowerment which is part of what makes this edition famous, along with the other models released in this edition.
The most difficult masterpieces to find from this edition were the ivory Nakprok Somdejs, and some Images of Luang Por Pae Nang Pan (sitting on a Bucha tray). These are highly revered as sacred due to their sacred powders containing pieces of ceramic bricks of the giant Luang Por Pae statue at Wat Pikul Tong. Both of those models are already soaring into the many thousands of dollars price range, and are even harder to find, than they are to afford.
Whoever possesses this Pra Niyom 95 Birthday edition Somdej Luang Por Pae amulet, can rest assured of its sacred power and the fact that it can only become ever more rare and expensive, that it is a treasure in itself for its constant and steady increase in rarity, esteem, class and value.
The amulets, have in this Pim, a Somdej Kaiser Sam Chan (rounded head with short taperd topknot) Buddha image on the front face, on a 3 tiered dais. This model measures 4 x 3.8 Cm, which is a 'Pim Yai, sized Pra Somdej roughly the size of the famous Pim Pra Pratan (Pim Yai), which is popular from Wat Rakang Kositaram, Wat Bang Khun Prohm, and from Wat Bovornives.
The image of the Buddha sitting upon the dais, has a swollen chest and feline waist, that is elongated, and is known in Thai language, as 'Ok Krut', which means 'chest of the Garuda'. The head of the border has a very pointed and elongated topknot, which almost pierces the overhead arch. The actual face area is not elongated, rather very round and protuberant, like a spherical dome. This kind of pointed topknot and round face, is known as 'Siarn Badtr', which means 'head like an almsbowl'. In the case of the Somdej Kaiser Siarn Badtr, the head will be larger than in Pra Somdej Siarn Badtr that are not of the Kaiser Pim.
This model when given its full title, would hence be called; "Pra Somdej Kaiser Ok Krut Siarn Badtr".
The rear side of the Amulets features some sacred geometry and ancient Khmer Sanskrit inscriptions, of the syllables 'Na Mo Put Taa Ya', one Na Putsoorn either side of the top corners, and an image of the grandmaster Luang Por Pae.
Either side of the grand master in the top corners, are the famous 'Yant Putsoorn' concentrically written Yantra spells, which are present on almost all authentic amulets from this guru master.
The amulets were made in red, green rainbow, white, black and gold, in white sacred powder, or in rainbow colours with, or without gold leaf. Some of the rare editions with double or triple Takrut spells inserted into the Muan Sarn Sacred Powders, were also released in varied limited edition numbers.
These amulets can be found in all volumes of official documentation which is part of what makes his sacred amulets so popular, because of their ease of authentication when one has good reference images for study. The detail is much finer and ingrained, then it is in fakes.

The inserts in the bases of many of the amulets are also had to fake. And in especially the case of the rainbow coloured ones, very few forgeries manage to produce the distinct separation of each coloured line, within the rainbow patterns of his most dense and hard dry sacred Amulets.
They tend to accumulate a very fine Midew-like white powdery film on the surface, especially in the case of the rainbow coloured ones more than others. But it does form on all different kinds of his amulets of the sacred powder variety.
Luang Por Pae was renowned for his purity of practice, and his Pra Somdej amulet, is one of the most classic and sought after to be found in the modern era. This means the last half-century. Many other amulets of the same or lesser standard cost much more but this is about to change, and is indeed changing very fast in Thailand, as prices are rising by 20 to 30% in less than a year, depending on the model and its rarity.
Another part of the reasons for its rapid depletion and increased rarity, is the fact that his amulets are not only of top importance and collectability in Thailand, rather, also on international shores. Many Singaporeans Malaysians Taiwanese and Hong Kong nationals, have been buying up these amulets for more than the last 10 to 15 years.
This has caused a massive depletion of those amulets which could still be found on the market back in those days.
As a result, these amulets have not only attained the grand respect and high spiritual and monetary value that they possess today, but are also now entering the halls of fame of essential rarities, which are immensely hard to find.
We predict that by the time our children are grown up, these amulets will be of immensely increased value, and incredibly hard to find one on offer at all, except at an exorbitant price, that is only affordable to millionaires.
They are already amongst the most preferred Pra Somdej amulets and skyrocketed during the years 2550 to 2557 BE, raising them to the statyus of Master Class Pra Niyom amulets of the highest level. It is not expected to become easier for find them either, so now is the time, to hunt and gather the amulets of Luang Por Pae, before it is too late.
