Khun Phaen Prai Kumarn Pim Boran Fang Takrut Lek Lai Early Era Amulet 5th Prize Winner Certificate Luang Phu Tim
A certificated 5th prize competition winning amulet, and a classic Pra Khun Phaen Pong Prai Kumarn Pim Boran (Early Era old amulet) in Nuea Pong Prai Kumarn Pasom Wan Thao Hlong (Nuea Khiaw - Green Powders), with Takrut and Chanuan bead inserted into the front face of the amulet. An extremely rare Pim to find, which one could not expect to encounter more than once in a lifetime. The early era amulets were made in very small numbers for they were hand pressed using the old treewood Block Presses from the great Luang Phu Tim of Wat Laharn Rai (in those days still called 'Wat Rai Waree'), in the early era when he first began to make his legendary Pra Khun Phaen Pong Prai Kumarn.
The Block Mai (and especially famously the 'Block Mai Takian') series were pressed between the years 2505, and 2510 BE, with some models of Block Mai Takian being pressed afterwards up to around 2513 BE.
The early era models included some very rare and hardly seen amulets, only known by the true aficionado, such as Luang Por Tuad Pim Tao Reed Pim Boran amulets of Luang Phu Tim, which were also made around the same time as this Pra Khun Phaen Pim Boran (Circa 2505 BE)
This amulet comes with official fifth prize winner of competition authenticity certificate from the Pra Tae Mueang Siam (Siam Amulet original Society) of Bangkok, with signature of confirmation from its president.
A truly rare hand pressed amulet of eminent status for its long history and early era status. The thumbprints from the authentic olden days hand pressing and the more simple features of the design, which reveal the amulet being pressed using the hand carved wooden Block Press.
Visually, this type of sacred clay has a very soft and subtle appearance, but which further observation under the eye loupe reveals true depth and dimension, and is full of the classic characteristics of Pong Prai Kumarn powders, and a true Pra Khun Phaen Luang Phu Tim Block Mai Pim Boran, The amulet is especially attractive for the piece of chanuan inserted into the chest of the Buddha and the Takrut inserted beneath the dais. The Muan Sarn Sacred Powders content is extremely rich in Pong Prai Kumarn and seems to possess the presence of broken pieces of Pra Somdej Wat Rakang Kositaram within the Sacred Clay, for its marbled appearance, or of Khaw Hniaw Sukh blessed sticky rice, which was a habitually used ingredient of Luang Phu Tim in making Pra Khun Phaen Pong Prai Kumarn amulets.
An extremely rare acquisition for any true devotee and avid collector of the Pra Khun Phaen Pong Prai Kumarn of Luang Phu Tim, and those who like to collect the full pantheon for their showcases. Extremely Sacred and Undoubtably Powerful, coming from the era where Luang Phu was less famous and much more intensively involved in the pressing of the amulets.
The Pra Khun Phaen Pong Prai Kumarn Luang Phu Tim is known for its Maha Sanaeh and its Kong Grapan Chadtri Powers, as well as for immense Siang Choke Maha Lap for Gamblers and Speculative Risk Investors to increase their good fortunes.
The Pra Khun Phaen Block Mai olden days wooden carved block press amulets have slightly less detailed carving than the Block Hin meed Gone or the Block Tong Hlueang (Block 2), but despite lesser refinement in design features, the amulet has equal level of preference and its own groups of devotees and collectors, for the charm and spiritual power associated with`the hand pressing and personal touch given by Luang Phu Tim to the Block Mai Takian series, and the fact that they are amongst the first Pra Khun Phaen amulets made by Luang Phu, and given individual attention and hand pressing.
This 5th prize competition winner exhibit of the Pra Khun Phaen Pim Boran is in extremely well preserved condition, with extremely clear cut features, and most certainly worthy of show in any of the allocated competitions of its genre. This exhibit has already received one fifth prize and its authenticity certificate of theSamakom Pra Krueang Tae Mueang Siam amulet association in Rayong in 2560 BE, and is hence further admissible in competitions of its Genre, and highly eligible for prize winning if such were of further interest to the owner.

We ourselves feel that all of Luang Phu Tim's amulets are equally Sacred and Powerful in their own way, regardless of which edition or which temple he blessed them at (or how high or low their prices are), but we do, as do all Amulet Appreciation Fanatics, recognise the categories of preference within the hierarchies of different editions, which is for us one of the more subtle and fascinating parts of the study of high end amulets within the collector scene, and part of the fine art of learning how to recognise and value Sacred Amulets of High Preference and Rarity.
