Pra Nang Paya, or ‘Pra Pim Nang Paya, is an amulet from the Ayuttaya Period, which was artistically influenced in its design factors by the Artisans of the Sukhothai Periodic Style. As to the composition of the design of the Pra Nang Paya amulet, it can be said that it contains the work of the Sukhothai Artisan as its heritage, and is a Mark of Preservation of the Eight Periodic Buddhist Art styles found in Thai Sacred Arts and Amulets.
The Pra Nang Paya amulet was first discovered within the Chedi Stupa at Wat Nang Paya in Pitsanuloke, in the year 2444 BE, as King Julalongkorn Rama 5 was visiting Pitsanuloke, to be present for the casting of the Chinarat Replica Buddha at Wat Pra Sri Radtana Sasadaram. The King was invited to come and receive a large number of them as gifts (the best selected), and his Majesty then distributed them to the Government Officials and other Courtiers and Devotees. The remaining amulets, he took back to Bangkok. Apart from the ‘Serm Duang’ Horoscope Improving effects of this Purely Buddhist Amulet, the amulet is Famous for its Metta Mahaniyom, Klaew Klaad, Kong Grapan Chadtri, and Maha Lap powers.

This Sacred Yantra Cloth from the great Luang Por Sud, of Wat Ka Long, is a very rare item indeed to find in the present era. Taw Waes Suwann is seen guarding the entrance to most Thai Temples, and is highly revered by Thai Buddhists as the lord of Great Fortune and Riches.
The Image of Taw Waes Suwann is found often printed on “Pha Yant” – Yantra cloths, with protective spells and imagery. This Pha Yant is normally obtained at the “Swod Pan Yaks” ceremony, normally performed after the rainy season when the monks can once more undertake their wanderings. The Yaksas are called in this ceremony, annd Taw Waes Suwann is called to reside in the Yantra cloth, to protect against all evils, Malevolent Beings and thieves, as well as to clean ones past Karma.
Taw Waes Suwan resides in the Jadtumahaarachigaa realm – Jadtu means four in Pali – the four quarters of this realm are ruled by Asura Lords, of which Taw Waes Suwann is Lord of the North – Mahaa Raachigaa means a King of the Angelic/Deva status level – so the word Jadtumahaaraachigaa means; “Realm of the Four Celestial Kings”.

Luang Por Sud was the legendary originator of the Wicha Yant Daktor rattan whicker ball Yantra spell. He was highly renowned for his powerful Takrut amulets, and his early era monk coins are extremely sought after acquisitions for their Kong Grapan Chadtri Klaew Klaad powers.
The Pha Yant has the seal of the temple of Wat Ka Long stamped onto the lower right section of the Yantra Cloth.
Luang Por Sud was born in the year 2445 BE on the 7th of May. he ordained into the Sangha at the age of 16 as a Samanera Novice Monk. When he moved after becoming a fully fledged Bhikkhu to Samut Sakorn and stayed at Wat Ka Long, where he eventually became the Abbot through his long term diligence and meritorious acts. He became famous for his Wicha Yant Look Takror Wicker ball Yantra, which he had Mastered through the use of Khmer Sorcery methods.
Luang Por Sud made many different kinds of amulets, but it is perhaps the Takrut, and hits Look Takror Wicha amulets (including the Pha Yant Takror) which are his most revered and famous for their Kong Grapan Chadtri and Klaew Klaad powers.
Luang Por Sud became even more famous after his death in the year of his cremation in 2545 BE, when his body would not burn, and seemed impermeable to fire. So the temple committee was forced to give up trying to cremate him, and placed his remains in a glass coffin.

Also in times of hardship and poverty, one should revere Taw Waes Suwann, which will enable you to have enough money to pay your bills and the cost of living with without any difficulty. Taw Waes Suwann made an offering to the Sangha by giving them the Kata “Aadtaanaadtiyaparittra”, so they would be able to have dominion over thes Yaks when they became bothersome, or made an attack.When the Asuras would hear this Kata, they would run far away in their masses, for fear of, as well as respect for, the law of the Dhevas. They would not return again to bother once they had been driven away by this Kata.
